We provide Physical Therapy services

Physiotherapists are experts at analyzing and correcting movements to minimize pain, improve performance, and assist with injury recovery.

Our services included all types and sizes

During your session, you’ll experience a comprehensive assessment, therapeutic treatment, and receive information on how you can empower your body to maintain an optimal state.

Physiotherapists are highly trained clinicians who diagnose and treat a variety of injuries to help reduce pain and improve function. We believe that helping our clients not only understand their body better, but how they can manage their care is the first step towards reaching their recovery goals. Our physiotherapists use a wide variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, movement analysis, Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), as well as acupuncture.

Many of our physiotherapists are experienced in NCAA track and field, Olympic and power lifting, martial arts, and many other activities. We believe one of the best ways to help individuals overcome injuries from sports, to have participated in them ourselves.

  • Some of many services our physiotherapists provide are:
  • Athletic performance training
  • Active rehabilitation program
  • Work simulation
  • Functional return-to-work planning
  • Sport-specific rehabilitation
  • Gait evaluation and treatment
  • Ergonomic evaluation and treatment
  • Falls prevention
  • Osteoporosis management
  • Vestibular rehabilitation

Does physiotherapy hurt?

Although it depends largely on individual pain tolerance, generally there is some discomfort during the session. Most clients describe this discomfort as “good/helpful” discomfort as they find relief immediately after. This comfort may be necessary to release muscle tension to facilitate long-lasting results. However, we believe that the client is always in control of their care, so at any point should things be too uncomfortable, please let your therapist know and they can adjust the treatment/pressure.

Is physiotherapy covered under health insurance plans?

Yes, our therapists are licensed physiotherapists, chiropractors, and registered massage therapists and we bill directly to most major health insurance providers. Please check with your insurance provider to see if a doctor’s referral letter is required before you book your session.

How many sessions do I need?

Although this is best determined after an initial assessment with a clinician, an average of 4-8 sessions would be something to consider. This can change based on the injury type and severity. The more severe or chronic in nature, the likelihood of additional sessions may increase.

Service Rates

We believe that managing your health should be transparent, and so should our rates. To provide the highest quality of care and to reduce any extra fees for “additional” add-ons, we’ve curated our rates to reflect that.
