Amy Liu
Physiotherapist / B.Kin, MPT, ACCDN

Amy completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. She has always been passionate about pursuing a career in the healthcare field because she wants to help make a difference in improving people’s quality of life. After having a very positive experience from going to physiotherapy herself, it really inspired her to do the same for others.
She believes in helping clients reach their rehabilitation goals through using a combination of education, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise. She uses an educational and evidence-based approach to empower clients to be active participants in their rehabilitation. She is also certified in functional dry needling IMS, which has been a great adjunct therapy to help her clients with their recovery. From her clinical experience, she found function and quality of life can be deeply affected by pain and injuries. Therefore, Amy really hopes to help everyone move pain-free so that they can participate in activities that they enjoy doing again!
Amy believes in lifelong education and will be pursuing courses in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopaedic Division and in other areas to expand her therapeutic skillset. She is also fluent in speaking Cantonese.
Outside of the clinic, you can catch Amy exploring different food options in the city or hopping on the plane to her next travel destination. She likes to stay active by working out at the gym, playing volleyball, snowboarding, hiking, running, or participating in any workout class that is going to give her a good sweat!
