Karim Abdulwahab

Born and raised right here in Surrey, BC, Karim graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) with distinction in 2016. He then continued on with his journey to Halifax, Nova Scotia where he completed his Masters of Physical Therapy at Dalhousie University in 2018. His desire to help the ever-growing community that he has called home for much of his life has brought him back to Surrey to join the Trifecta team.
Karim believes in an interactive and educational approach to work together with his patients to empower them to reach their rehabilitation and injury prevention goals. His personal experience playing a variety of sports and the injuries associated with them allows him to better understand the holistic and collaborative approach needed for a full recovery. He is a strong believer that your physical health is one of the biggest investments in life and wants to help everyone live a more active and pain-free life. He is also certified in functional dry needling IMS, which has been a great adjunct therapy to help his clients with their recovery.
Karim is very keen on completing additional courses in orthopaedic physiotherapy including and expanding his clinical toolset to better help his patients achieve their goals. In his spare time, Karim enjoys playing recreational Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, Squash and Running.
