Mandy Lim

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Mandy graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) with distinction from the University of Calgary. She then completed a Master in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. She works in both public and private practice. Upon graduation, she was awarded the 2015 Clinical Excellence Award by the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC).

Mandy has completed numerous continued education courses including: functional dry needling (also known as intramuscular dry needling (IMS)) through Kinetacore, mobilization with movement through the Mulligan Concept, the McKenzie Method, and orthopaedic levels through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). In March 2019, she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training course for alignment-based hatha yoga.

Mandy strongly believes in setting individualized personal goals with each of her clients. Her therapy approach comprises of a mixture of hands-on manual therapy, education with empowerment, and exercise therapy.

Outside her career as a physiotherapist, you will likely find Mandy in the yoga studio attempting her next asana challenge, lounging at the beach reading a self improvement book, or having a solo dance party in her kitchen while cooking up the recent recipe she found online.
