Omar Hanjra
Physiotherapist / BSc.Health Science, DPT, IMS

Omar graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University and continued on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in sunny San Diego, California.
He has several years of inpatient and outpatient experience, including pre and post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, post motor vehicle injuries, geriatrics and orthopaedics. Omar’s treatment approach uses a combination of manual therapy, client education, and therapeutic exercises. He enjoys empowering each client to reach their rehabilitation goals through an active approach in order to improve the way they move.
Omar believes in life long education and has completed several manual therapy seminar courses, mobilization with movement through the Mulligan Concept and intramuscular stimulation (IMS)/Functional Dry Needling Level 1 certification through Kinetacore. He is currently studying to pursue an orthopaedic clinical specialty under the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialities (ABPTS).
In his spare time, Omar enjoys playing a variety of recreational sports throughout the year, including Ultimate Frisbee and basketball. He’s keen on trying out new activities and sports, with the latest being crossfit and tennis. You can also find him enjoying the local mountains either snowboarding or hiking.
